Waxed Linen Colour

Sterling silver and Irish Waxed Linen.  The Quincy Bracelet is perfect to wear every day on it’s own or in among your other wrist treasures you have collected along the way.  This contemporary design using colourful Irish Waxed Linen that is woven in between sterling silver handmade and hand closed jump rings to create this intriguing macrame style patterned bracelet.

Quincy is a old Irish Girl’s name that means “fifth”.  If you look at the ring pattern, you will see it’s a repeating pattern of 5 rings, then 3 rings going the opposite direction, then another 5 rings, etc…  The name is a nod to the 12 ply Irish Waxed Linen and repeating 5 ring pattern combination of materials used. This design continues Lisa’s tradition of using female names for her jewellery designs.

Comes in both Regular and Large sizes, in 11 gorgeous Irish Waxed Linen colours.  Sterling silver “slider” clasp is made in Italy and has been laser engraved with Lisa’s “R” logo.  Regular size fits most wrists between 6.5″ – 8.0″.  Large size fits wrists from 8.5″ – 10″.  Colours of the Irish Waxed Linen are approximate, as each computer screen will show colours slightly differently.

Also, just a note about regular wear of this piece. You can wear it daily and in fresh water, but not in salt water, or chlorinated pools or hot tubs. It is also recommended to NOT wear it all the time, as in, you can sleep in it, but not shower in it. The chemicals in the soap when you shower will fade the colour of the linen and also degrade the linen threads, causing it to breakdown sooner. I have a limited warranty on this bracelet of one year. If it fails within that time period I will repair it for free, but anything after that, I charge a $75.00 restringing fee. You can choose the same colour of thread or another colour. When combining precious metal with other materials such as linen or rubber, it is natural for the non-metal materials to break down over time. So when purchasing this item, you should be aware that it will at some point require a re-stringing, but will just depend on how much you wear it, and there will be a repair charge applied for the re-stringing service.
