Molten Earrings

Sterling Silver & Oxidized Sterling Silver. Total length of 1.75". The Molten reference in the name of this design refers to how it is made. I create a lot of scrap when I make my own rings to build my chainmaille patterns. I decided to take the ends of the coils that don't get cut all the way through to become rings, and the rings that aren't quite whole, or round, or have some flaw or another in them and heat them up and slightly "melt" them to create beads or odd looking links. I then oxidize them to bring the melted texture out and combine those with my "perfectly round rings" to create this Molten series of work. Match to the Molten Bracelet and Molten Necklace.

Each Molten piece is unique and the earrings on post tops you see in the image is the exact pair you will receive. Each earring weighs approximately 6.0 grams. If you would prefer either a french back or huggie top instead, please state in the comment box when ordering. There will be no charge to change them over to the earring top of your choice. Very versatile and the combination of shiny and oxidized silver creates a look that easily goes from day to night effortlessly.
