Using 20 mm round Lapis Lazuli (which is Arabic & Latin meaning blue stone) donuts, from Afghanistan, combined with sterling silver handmade oval and round links, Lisa has created this uniquely designed bracelet. Incorporating her signature twisted ring design and deluxe sterling spring ring closure, this bracelet is 8.50" long. It can be hooked in another ring besides the end ring to make it shorter. You will receive this exact bracelet when ordering and depending on your computer screen set up, the blueness of each stone may not be depicted exactly as in real life. Lapis Lazuli is composed of several minerals in addition to Lazurite (the mineral that creates the blue colour), which usually makes up 25-40%, but can be accompanied by augite, calcite, diopside, mica, sodalite and pyrite. The variation of these minerals can cause a wide range of colour placement and combinations. The presence of fine pyrite (which is also called "fools gold") is advantageous and is taken to shown genuineness. This bracelet design is also available in BC Nephrite Jade.
